Booking
Policy
A
non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to complete your
booking. We will confirm your booking after receiving your
deposit payment.
The balance
is payable six weeks before your arrival at ‘The Smiddy’.
For bookings made less than six weeks before your arrival, full
payment is required at the time of your booking.
Acceptable
payment methods are: via our PayPal account – payment into our
bank account
Arrival
/ Departure & other key points
‘The
Smiddy’ is let for a minimum of 7 nights commencing at
4pm on the day of your arrival and terminating at 10am on the
day of departure.
Arrival
and departure dates are flexible, with bookings commencing
and terminating on any day of the week.
‘The
Smiddy’ is let for holiday purposes only by a maximum of two
adults to be named on the booking form.
Electricity, gas, bedlinen, towels, WiFi and Freeview Television
are included in the rent.
We are
expecting our guests to take proper care of the property and its
furniture and fittings and to leave it as it was found on
arrival. Accidents can happen. Please report any breakages or
damage to the property to us as soon as possible to allow us to
remedy the situation for you or for the next visitors.
The guest
agrees to pay the full cost due to negligence causing loss or
damage to the accommodation, equipment or environs.
We reserve
the right to enter the accommodation at reasonable times for
necessary inspections or repairs.
We ask our
guests to respect our No Smoking policy.
Sorry, but
we do not allow dogs or other pets in ‘The Smiddy’.
Cancellation
Should a
cancellation be made by the guest, we will seek to re-let
for the period of hire. A full refund will be made
if we are successful in re-letting the accommodation.
The payment
of the deposit constitutes a legal contract. If you are
unable to take your holiday at ‘The Smiddy’, your deposit can not be refunded. This includes cancellations due to
adverse weather conditions.
If in any
extreme circumstances we have to cancel your booking with us,
we will refund all payments to us. You will have no further
claim against us.
This
contract is between the hirer and Carmen Meier and John Hawell ,
the owners of ‘The Smiddy’.
We will
consider our Terms and Conditions to have been accepted by you
on receipt of the deposit payment.
